The Grandview Hills neighborhood is located just north of 2222 off RR 620, an area of Austin that has seen tremendous growth in recent years. Grandview Hills itself is actually several neighborhoods - The Parke (made up of the Muir Parke and Waterton Parke neighborhoods), The Ridge at Grandview Hills, and The Estates at Grandview Hills. The first homes in The Parke were built in the late 1980s (Sections 1-5), the Ridge was developed in the early 2000s (Sections 6-7) and The Estates (Section 8), a section of 45 custom homes, started construction in 2004. Two parks, Muir Parke and Waterton Parke, offer residents a place to gather with Waterton Parke also providing summertime fun at the community pool. The community is also home to Grandview Hills Elementary School that opened in 2007 and is on its way to hosting LISD's first International Baccalaureate Primary Years Program. Just across from the neighborhood is Four Points Centre, a 333 acre site that is home to an HEB grocery store, Target, apartments, restaurants, other retail shops, and office space.
